Lindesay - General Entry
Come and enjoy a guided tour of the house and collection at Lindesay and discover the fascinating history of this classic Darling Point mansion.
Built in 1834, Lindesay was the first house in Darling Point and the first in Australia to be built in the Gothic Revival style. Reminiscent of former times, Lindesay showcases restored Georgian interiors with fine antique English and Australian furniture. A new edition to the collection includes an exhibit of a children’s day nursery from that period.
The house interiors are complemented by elegant, well-tended grounds with harbour views.
